Life has been feeling very overwhelming lately.... So on Sunday I took a hike with my dog. The two of us hiked 6 miles, looked down at the land from such heights. It was the quiet I needed.

The way Ken Follett writes antagonists is amazing, how you get so frustrated with them, but in the end they get what they deserve, and his attention to detail about architecture gave me a deep sense of appreciation for these large historical sites, I've read 3 of the books in this series.
