Nice one Andy - Radipole for those that donβt know.
I wish I could come up with something and make my millions and pay my fair taxes to help others π€·ββοΈ
If they had acted like old Labour they wouldnβt have won the election.
One at Silverlake today.
Nice one Ian π
Donβt be so melodramatic. We had 14 years of Tory chaos - putting all that right with Brexit and all the damage that did and with Trump and his ways has not exactly made things easy for any party to put right.

Lower Bockhampton today where we spotted Egrets in a field. 20 Little Egrets we thought until Gillian spotted 1 Cattle Egret amongst them which was a nice find. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social #ukbirds #UKbirding
Many thanks to @harbourbirds.bsky.social and Stour Ringing Group for the brilliant event they put on, on Wednesday. At all times the well-being of the birds was paramount. It was fantastic to see this Woodcock and Jack Snipe to learn so much on identification, sizing and behaviour.
A Goldfinch perched amongst the bare stems of a Teasel type plant with the teasel heads adding to the picture.
A great Egret skulking amongst the reed bed hunting for food.
A male Marsh Harrier seen from it's underside with the black, grey and brown colouring caught in the bright sun with the bird's claws extended.
A male Shoveler photgraphed in flight with its lower wing fanned out and the green of it's head and bright orange legs looking splendid.
RSPB Ham Wall yesterday - booming Bitterns heard a lot of the day but none seen. Did see this Goldfinch, Great Egret in the reeds, beautiful Marsh Harrier and the Shoveler in flight. Treecreeper, Siskin, GSW amongst other birds seen. #ukbirds #UKbirding #Somersetlevels @rspb.bsky.social
Havenβt you ever had a shower π
It has to be the best nest.
Cracking picture.
Incredible π
Great to have a plan and for it to work. We planted a Silver Birch approx 6 years ago and itβs now 30+
feet tall. We have that and a small crab apple all we have room for.
Brilliant π
The female was nearby.
Thanks Ian
The protected characteristics within it offer many people protection - be it race, gender, disability etc. It will be disastrous for many people without this protection.
A male Bullfinch
Thorncombe Woods nr Dorchester today with Gillian. We had sightings of a Green Woodpecker (heard it yaffling most of the morning), a Great Spotted Woodpecker and more common birds. Photos below of Nuthatch, Treecreeper and Bullfinch that we saw. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social #ukbirds #UKbirding
Yes I suspect I know the area you are talking of - I have just picked the wrong day or time of year. I went to Pulborough Brookβs once and there were adders everywhere.
I just love adders but have struggled to come across them last few years. How lucky you were. π
A Common Redpoll feeding on the ground amongst the leaves. Its red crest is showing nicely.

A Valentine's Day trip out to Thorncombe Woods this morning with Gillian on a lovely cold, but sunny day. The best treat was finding 3 Common Redpoll feeding on the ground with 20 + Chaffinch close by. Also saw 2 Goldcrest, 3 Siskin, Song & Mistle Thrush. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social #ukbirds
A great bird on your patch - well done Kev.
