Just please know if you’re reading this, and think “me too” that we are not alone. I hope you find your way too. Please just keep going. Even when it feels hard. You’re worth it. We will find a way to thrive, because we aren’t meant to simply survive; we will thrive.
My only hope is that by continuing to move onward I will eventually either make peace with the path I am on, find a path which is more enjoyable, or some sort of balance between all things this full-spectrum journey has to offer. There has to be some solution, whether in seeking or in destination.
And I do not say this for any other reason but transparency for the sake of vulnerability and honesty.
We forget that there are souls behind these posts, and that the human experience often contains a full-spectrum emotional experience— not just the highlights; yet highlights are what are shown.
Honestly feel really good about the progress I’ve been making but the face says it all.
I’m not really happy with my life right now and that’s a hard truth.
I feel joy in certain moments but it is fleeting.
Existing right now is hard some days, and I am very much still in survival mode.
I joke about wanting to be a brainless dumb jock but I’m serious at this point, how do I do it because having any kind of intelligence in any form at this point is just exhausting on all levels and I just want to be blissfully unaware of *gestures vaguely*
