The free store serves a community that is neglected by current city/state resources. More than 2/3 of the folks who attend don't have access to *any* government social services due to things like lack of an address & past drug felonies. The supplies y'all help buy are some of the only aid they get.
And: nobody in those files will be brought to justice, so what is the end game? Self-satisfaction of being right about something everyone already knows to be true? Such a cooked society.
This is what I’ve been saying!! The knee-jerk “RELEASE THE FILES” response under news about advancing fascism is a clear demonstration of mass hysteria. When events involving scandal occur alongside events relating to structure, rest assured, scandal is the distraction.
