Young men age 18-26 still have to sign up for the Selective Service System. Failure to do so can result in fines and imprisonment. And yes, if you have transitioned to a male then you have to sign up as well. So they already have a list of eligible persons for the draft.

He served honorably in the US Navy from 1959-1963. He understood the complexities of Vietnam. He was a strong supporter of the Vietnam vets, working to get memorials established and worked for various veteran organizations. He never stopped singing about the war.
