Landed at my doorstep today, a piece of someone’s life gone in Los Angeles. Totally heartbreaking.
Sometimes on Too Good To Go restaurants will sell u bulk prepped produce which u can even freeze. It really is the best app if u live in a major city bc u can get some real luxury food items for just a few dollars! I don't think it's as good in small cities bc the only ones doing it are like Panera

God bless Jimmy Carter. For his and his family’s sake, I am grateful that he passed while Joe Biden was still president. He will have an appropriate, dignified, and heartfelt national memorial service—perhaps the last of its kind. As was he.

The much-missed Jonathan Demme's documentary "Jimmy Carter: Man From Plains" is streaming on Amazon, if anybody is interested in such things.
When Jim Banner recruited me for the updated Presidential Misconduct collection, I was busy finishing Fault Lines and joked that I could only handle a light load, so I’d do Carter.
But I found he was, if anything, *too* ethical, bending over backward to be transparent. Seems a world away from us.

Moving the DNC to Youngstown is a silly idea. But opening a secondary HQ in another major city—like Chicago or Minneapolis—makes sense to me. It would get more operatives out of DC and make it easier to recruit and retain top talent.
