I teach sewing to adults and to teenagers. Hearing some of the teens talk candidly about lockdowns, active shooter drills, and things of that nature that most certainly should NOT be normal is absolutely harrowing.
Our country needs to do better for them.

I picked up a Sashiko embroidery make-it-take-it next week to substitute for another instructor. I'm getting her supplies and have started my deep dive.

Have any of y'all tried this technique before? If so, do you have any tips or resources to share?
