Someone asked me recently for my marathon dos and don'ts. Here's what I came up with:
-Nothing new on race day
-Consistent, boring training beats a few big days
-Train for where you are not where you want to be

For some reason this exact screen of @angelineera.bsky.social triggered a vivid memory of commuting on the CTA Red Line - specifically the turnstiles on the southside of the Belmont Station.
I played a bit of Spanky's Quest and was charmed by the cute sprites, upbeat music, and interesting volleyball-like mechanics.
Get well soon!
Oh, it was on that CD! I think there was also a particular, "Oh, no!" exclamation when the player runs into themselves or an obstacle.
hbd, Anodyne! Hope your teen years are smoother than mine were โจ

I've been in the habit of shutting myself down, telling myself "no," distrusting myself, and treating myself with indifference.
.
This is not okay and I'm working on it.

I've played about 90min of @angelineera.bsky.social on normal - lol, it is challenging and uncanny - left a positive review as I can't wait to play more!
Hehe, thanks for doing that math
Would like to continue playing but it is time to get the @angelineera.bsky.social Sleep in bed achievement irl
Cool to learn some of the techniques used to make this beautiful game!
Purchased & can't wait to play (after work)!!! Congrats, @hantani.bsky.social & @even-kei.bsky.social!
Congrats!!! Can't wait to play it!
Thank you, Olivia!
Sure thing!
Forgot to mention - it was fun! I had a good time playing the demo!
The way @danchidays.bsky.social demo presents a perspective of Japanese life feels uniquely free of the exoticization and censorship present in other English-language content. The neighbors and setting present mundane aspects of Japanese life including the challenges of living in community.
I enjoyed the way the demo demonstrated the themes of hope in the face of loss. @danchidays.bsky.social demo offered a vision for the ways push notifications might enrich your relationships with neighbors instead of just fueling an attention economy. Hope for connection instead of loss of focus.

I just finished the @danchidays.bsky.social demo and RSVP'd to the festival. (Wishlisted on Steam) Hooray!
Can't wait for Angeline Era to begin!
Now that we've completed development on Angeline Era's ending. I can certify that @angelineera.bsky.social is an Analgesic Classic. Many of our game endings are wild but Angeline Era's is really something else... hope you will play till the end this year! store.steampowered.com/app/2393920/...

Can't help but tear up a bit when watching the final 2k of Chicago 2010 which was also my marathon debut in my hometown. It was hot that day and the battle was unrelenting to the end. RIP Sammy Wanjiru.
Reed Zine Fest haul! Not pictured: more stickers, a tiny, tiny mini version of a zine I bought last year, and a bunch of fun chats with new and existing friends
