My main concern is that this could be like the Bovino-to-Homan thing where the evil still continued, perhaps even more so, but now was not being handled by a social media-obsessed weirdo so the evil is now committed under a cloak instead of broadcast to the world where it was scrutinized 24/7.

Such a great game. Agreed on the setting and environments being so beautiful. I ended up exploring every island because of that just to see all of the cool stuff they created. The expansions get a little silly but Kassandra gets a really cool send off. Valhalla just didn't hit the same.
It's pretty incredible to witness in real time how many systems our country has that rely on decorum to operate, and then some assholes came in and said "No, I'm not following those rules" and just get away with it because they know they won't be punished.
I think there may be Moderation Lists that do this (Settings -> Moderation -> Moderation Lists), but for the life of me I have no idea how to search for them. I only know of them when I see someone make a post about one and I've added some that way.

Separate medium, but I remember 13 or so years ago that the idea of someone streaming on Justin.tv/Twitch.tv with a separate camera on their face while they played games or watched videos was seen as ridiculous. Turned out that viewers really, really like that sort of presentation.

I absolutely loved Legacy, I picked up the 4K Blu-ray for it and the original Tron, but Leto's involvement in Ares was a deal-breaker for me. For what it's worth, my dad said he enjoyed it so I guess if you're not aware of Leto's scumbaggery or can memory hole it then it sounds like it's a fun movie
I'm also not a fan of Ryan editorializing that "This is an Xbox" was a "brand-killing" failure. Xbox's lack of exclusive games to sell consumers on Xbox consoles and giving them a reason why they should get one over a PS5 is far, far more damaging. There are much bigger problems than an ad campaign.
Plus that sort of decision has to go through so many different people at different levels for weeks. Even if the marketing department was "reporting directly to Sarah", you're telling me that ad campaign launched in a single month after that change? No way. That thing was approved before West left.
I thought this a decade ago when ESPN.com changed their article comments system, which was filled with trolls spewing hate, to using Facebook and how people using their real names on comments would clean it up. It didn't. People just went on attaching hate to their government name. Shame is dead.

It feels even grosser when you realize that GoFundMe takes 2.9% plus $0.30 from each donation made. They essential profit off others' misery; it's an abominable business model. There must be a better way to help others through compassion without enriching a weird shadow middleman.
