Did you know re-processing reusable devices produces this much plastic waste? Jennifer Gregory from Ambu is telling us how single use devices are made from bioplastics and the Ambu recircle pilot
For our final session we have Dr Rob McCahon talking through the economic realities of single versus reusable devices. Departments need to consider their own usage: low rates of usage favour single use devices. ENT and anaesthetic departments may benefit from different devices
DAS president Prof Al McNarry is up next with his enthusiastic talk for both universal VL and awake VL, and situations where awake VL performs better than awake FB.
Prof Reza Nouraei kicks things off with his demonstration of awake examination of routes of oxygenation (AERO)endoscopy and how this is relevant to DAS unanticipated difficult airway guidelines
