Borrego Springs on the other side of the mountain range from Palm Springs / Joshua Tree. Was an Anza-Borrego Desert State Park focus since we'd been to Joshua Tree before. #ParkChat

We had a couple in our local creek three summers ago. I hope they moved on naturally and weren't removed by the park department. #ParkChat

A11. Any morning in the outdoors is a good morning. A couple of my favorites that were quickly available. #ParkChat

A10. We had set up at a backcountry campsite in Rocky Mountain NP and woke up to snow. We were hiking out that day anyway and it was only a couple of inches that quickly diminished as we progressed downhill to the trailhead. Just had to watch our steps a little more than usual. #ParkChat

A9. we are fans of an end of day campfire. we are more sensitive with the fire dangers; but, in the right situation, the campfire is a great place to unwind. #ParkChat

A8. We definitely prefer to settle in and explore the nearby area for several days. We might split a trip into two locations; but, do not move every day. A campervan may change that in the future since we don't really have to pack up to move. #ParkChat

A7. With the kids (now 23), we'd be moving a little slower in the morning. With just the wife, we moving earlier in the day. My wife is usually taking care of food (breakfast and packing the lunches), I'm usually finalizing trail info and the logistics of getting to the trailhead. #ParkChat

A6. We rented a camper van for Death Valley and drove it out into the park to make breakfast instead of having breakfast in the campground. So, I guess you could say we were in a rush to get to a view for breakfast! #ParkChat

A5. If the kids are with us, it is pancakes made by my wife. If just my wife and I, we separately prepare oatmeal and a banana to go with coffee or tea. #ParkChat

A4. We'll most likely be going out hiking, so waste of time to do a morning shower. 🙂 We'll clean up after the hike, currently that is most likely at a hotel or house. Soon, would be a campground shower or a quick rinse in a camper van. #ParkChat
