Often i think about the permanent damage being done to people--through ICE raids, kicking people out of stable housing, funding loss for worldwide health programs. Even if we completely reverse these policies we will have shattered families and lives that can't easily be put back together

Totally agree, I literally did not know people commonly say this. Maybe I've been spoiled but some pretty amazing advocates. Most youth cannot drive, and there's plenty of people that can't drive for various reasons but can cycle.

They would have to acquire it from parks. I don't know the process, but I think often involves a land swap. I'm not sure parks process for evaluation that. It sounds like the superintendent suggested the preferred site, which has not been publicly shared, is MCPS owned
