The Green-winged Teal from Pulborough Brooks. Cuckoos and lots of Nightingale in song.
Today I braved the A27 for the Least Sand at Medmerry. Here it is on the Stilt Pool in company with LRP
Flushed a male Hen Harrier 🤩 as I was walking this hedge on the WeBS at Adur Levels (Beeding Brooks). It all happened too quickly for the camera.
A flash of excitement as male Hen Harrier went through at Welney. GW Teal from Lyle hide. 6 Spot Reds, singing Sedgy, 2 Spoonbill.
An after work dash to see this Woodchat Shrike at Newhaven was a nice start to my Easter hols
A heavy crop of a female Merlin from WeBS on Adur Levels. Lots of Snipe on the icy wetlands.
Finally got out for the November WeBS in the Adur Valley. Best bird was a site-faithful Jack Snipe that was just a few yards from where I flushed it 2 years ago
