Gov. Bill Lee repays travel expenses following new Tennessee Ethics Commission opinion Ethics commissioners determined Tuesday the expenses paid by the nonprofit constituted an indirect gift to the governor.

Let’s be clear: had media not done its job and TN House Democrats ‬⁩not threatened an ethics complaint, ⁦‪Lee would’ve ‬⁩never paid. A governor knowingly, intentionally violating ethics law, believing he’s above the law, should concern everyone. #TNHouseDems www.tennessean.com/story/news/p...
