Middle finger never leaving W is not entirely accurate, it hits S too. And we may not be talking about sliding, but it's tied to crouch on a lot of modern games. So I do both.
If I'm strafing left I use my index on C, if I'm strafing right I use my pinky on control. Middle finger never leaves W. If I'm trying to slide that usually comes with sprint on shift with my ring finger. Theoretically I could hit C with my thumb, but I don't like doing that.
Enlightenment is realizing that you can use both and alternate depending on which direction you're strafing.

Cathedral windows look awesome, so I think you should draw as many as you like. Especially when you put a cool character with a big ol axe in front.
