The last time I went to the US on vacation was exactly 18 years ago. Los Angeles. I remember spending four nights in Santa Monica When I visited Little Tokyo, it was bustling with tourists, but I hear it's all but abandoned now. Skid Row next door probably has the worst security situation as well.

TBH, the hate of developmental disorders is increasing in Japan. There is an increasing number of cases in which people are rejected for employment simply because they confide in a job interview that they have DD. If this trend continues, many people with them in Japan will fall into great poverty.

Shockingly, the official criteria for disability pensions have not changed — yet rejections have doubled. After the leadership change, the screening process became drastically harsher without new laws or regulations. Thousands are now left without the support they deserve.
