Yea based on that statement, it makes me think this story was supposed to explain Ben's mysterious survival or resurrection, maybe some dyad shenanigans.

And the best we can gather from it is the fact that it was called the coolest script Adam has been a part of.

We will see Ben again, that I'm not doubting

I still think we haven't seen the last of Adam btw! Just highly doubt we'll see Soderbergh's true treatment/script but there are going to be elements of it pulled elsewhere.

Silly Swordmasters - another crossover art piece for Star Wars (The Rise of Skywalker) and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, artwork by Dani (@moocaron) - huge thanks again! Felix (timeskip) and Ben Solo are both seen back to back wielding blue crossguard lightsabers, but now they’ve both got surprise cat ears. They’re both being cheered on by their partners mid-battle. Rey to Ben: “Ooh the spell worked, and your ears look adorable!” Sylvain to Felix: “I worked my magic! C’mon guys, meow, you look PURRRFECT!” Meanwhile, Felix and Ben are blushing doing their best not to get too flustered, Felix especially with his little pout.
