I’ve used m43 gear to “scan” medium format with great results. I’m equipped to do 4x5, but don’t really have any large format material. This was shot on XP-2 400, copied with a digital camera.
Consider using your digital camera as a copy camera. There are solutions available that provide high quality full spectrum backlight sources, and even anti-newton glass carriers. The tonal range, speed and detail are remarkable, even with 20 megapixel images. Only thing better is drum scans, IMHO.
