Well, I let my guard down as we came out of our hotel midday, broad daylight, as a group, and a boy on a bike snatched my thin necklace (which I hadn’t worn on other trips) but thankfully it fell out of his hand as he rode off. Maybe he didn’t think it was worth much because it was so thin 🤷♂️
Yeah, I’d been to Rio over 6x by the time I went in ‘22 with friends. I had seen ppl get their wallets stolen, etc but nothing had happened to me. In my mind, I looked less like a target.
