-Missing work when you intended to be back, because you're sick (yikes!!)
-Spreading sickness to people on your flights like babies or disabled folks who can't mask or get vaccinated (solidarity!!)

Stanford researchers put the total for those two illnesses at roughly 200,000,000 worldwide.
Still no treatment or cure.

For a bit of perspective on how far we've fallen from protective care; when my daughters were in the NICU in 1981, 1984, respectively, *everyone scrubbed & masked or weren't allowed in* to protect the vulnerable. Now? My oncologist's office doesn't even bother; no one but me is masking.

Babies with Covid are 7.25 times more likely to die than babies with RSV.
And that’s only death—never mind the chronic impact that can result.
Keep newborns out of public places, if you possibly can—and buy a HEPA filter for your daycare!
Our children are being repeatedly infected with an airborne pathogen and everyone is just shrugging their shoulders as though there’s nothing we can do.
