Home from a two day residential. I chatted with a group of boys on the final night. One in tears because they were homesick. He brushed it off - put on a smile. They had been taught that boys have to be brave. If you can teach yours one thing, teach them it’s ok for boys to cry.

Great question. Autumn is always rammed with admin and extra jobs. It’s difficult to stay on top of the to-do list. Ensuring that the weekend is mine is my non-negotiable. That, and lots of time with the cat 🐈⬛
