These are just some incoherent thoughts i have that i wanted write down somewhere because I'm just sitting in a train on the way to campus thinking about K-on

And often times when you see an anime focused on a craft it's usually at the center of the story's conflicts.

K-on doesn't have those, instead it will hit you with the reminder every other episode that nothing lasts forever and you will feel like sobbing

K-on is all about cherishing the time you have with the people around you despite it not being permanent. The uncertainty of growing up and potentially drifting apart from your peers is something everyone can relate to. You could call k-on a music anime but there isn't much for music nerds here.

k-on season 2 has placed a lot of emphasis on HTT's time together being temporary and enjoying the time they have left to the fullest so seeing the third years break down in tears after their last high school consert kinda hits you like a truck

K-on!! Episode 9 kinda almost had me sobbing

Seeing Yui's growth as a person and her wanting to do something for the granny next door was so nice.

Juggling both the talent show and her exams while succeeding at both, i feel like a proud dad😭😭

Another heavy episode about memories, grief, and trauma hovering over survivors. And yet, it culminates in a beautiful scene where this welcoming environment allows Asa to establish her identity. To convey this, guest animator Naoya Takahashi makes the show's naturalism more charismatic than ever
