This is unexplainable and unthinkable. As bird flu spreads around the country, we won't have anyone investigating it, and we won't have any information about how to stay safe - not to mention other pandemics that can and will arise.

I cleared out the xylitol from our house after we adopted Poppy, and I found out that small dogs can die from eating as little as one piece of xylitol-sweetened gum. Now it appears that was a good move for my cardiovascular health as well.

Yes, I'm very worried about that also. I think a lot of OB/GYNs may have been waiting to see if the abortion protections amendment passed in FL. It got 57% of the yes vote, but still failed (we needed 60%). Now I fear more OB/GYNs will leave because they feel they cannot adequately treat patients.

I've also argued with people that have this take, and it's unbelievable. Have they not experienced the doctor shortage, or heard of the burnout affecting overworked physicians?!? Recently tried scheduling in FL, and new patient appts for GYN were out 6 months. Neurologists were out to Jan 2026!
