It looks like typical Binding grossness haha but also fun, I could see it taking a few playthroughs to get a sense of long term strategy and try out different builds

Oh really? That's cool, did not know that!
How's the game so far? I've been obsessed with Binding of Isaac, so much so that I've been having a hard time getting back into other games. So on one hand I'd like to try this go, but on the other hand I'd like to get to the rest of my backlog haha ๐
Game #34: what is a video game that you looked forward to or wanted, that when you got it, it met all of your expectations? ๐
One caveat: answers must be in A-Z order! (so read the furthest answer, then answer w/a game that begins w/ the next letter).

P - Paper Mario Color Splash
I've replayed this game a bunch of times. It's silly and fun, painting blank spots is satisfying, and it has levels like a haunted mansion, traversing the ocean on a pirate ship, mirror universe hopping, battling on a moving train, and a Super Mario Bros 3 throwback

You beat me on O! I was going to say Ori and the Blind Forest, such a fun and beautiful Metroidvania
I learned that day that even if you are weirdly calm in a crisis, you should act upset when talking to the 911 operator, or you might not be taken seriously.
Found out later via mediation services that the guy was from the US and was possibly drugged at the bar (we're in Canada), didn't remember anything. Was the son of a prominent politician, parents were thankful my hubby didn't kill him, as that might have happened if this had been in the States.
Got on 911 again, relayed that the drunk guy was saying, "12345 let me in", and started breaking down the door. It ended with hubby pinning him down on the kitchen floor in a choke hold and cops burst in with guns drawn.
Tell me a random fact about yourself that sounds fake but is 100% true
When I was 9 months pregnant, a drunk person tried breaking in. 911 hung up on us, said to call back when it was serious. I crocheted a blanket while hubby tried to make him go away.
Congrats Em!! ๐

That looks so good! ๐คค
I'm still in the first season but I'm impressed with how Nanami mentors Itadori and tries to protect him from some of the harder choices he'll inevitably have to make
Ohh maybe that's why I wear hoodies constantly and regardless of weather haha
They also help with neck, shoulder, and back pain, and my spine usually adjusts after a session
I also have one of those mats and neck pillows with spikes all over them (Shakti mat), and they help a ton with emotional regulation and winding down for sleep. I often actually fall asleep on them
I have one, and it's relaxing, but it's too heavy (rolling over at night is a struggle), and gets too hot. But I got a full size blanket, I think a smaller one might be better for the intended usage.
Saw it in theatre, I liked it!

It's โ magnificentโ ๐ฆ๐งน
We gotta get those numbers up!!
That's cool, I didn't know this was a thing!
Oh no, that's terrible, and I'm sorry that happened ๐
My house has been broken into a couple of times, and I just want to validate that it's a traumatizing event that strips away your sense of peace and safety. Please take care, give yourself grace, and reach out for help if you need to ๐งก
The Secret Society of Cynics from South Park episode S15E8. They resemble characters from the movie The Matrix, wearing futuristic clothing and sunglasses, some holding guns.
This reminds me of S15E8 of South Park ๐คฃ
Morpheus to Stan: "You've broken through their reality and they don't like it! Others deserve to know the truth! You see everything as shit, don't you? Where other people see fun movies and hear cool music, all you see and hear is shit! Am I right?"
I can't speak for the rest of Canada, but Manitobans get pretty excited when Winnipeg is mentioned, even in passing, and even as the butt of the joke ๐คฃ
Idk if it's because I'm non-binary but "lady" seems almost as bad to me, it feels gross and patronizing
I need to know more about this lmao.

"And with a sudden POOF, Penelope transformed into a golden, crispy nugget โ tender on the inside, baffled on the outside.
At first, panic. But then... please? Being a nugget wasnโt half bad."
Donated and reposted, I hope everything goes well on Tuesday ๐
Hi everyone. I absolutely HATE to come on here asking for help, but here I am. Iโve created a GoFundMe to help cover surgery costs that I unexpectedly have to pay on Tuesday. I would appreciate any help/engagement, but I understand intimately that times are hard. ๐ค
