Same bottle but clean.

It’s about 22cm long and about 14cm high. Opening is about 5cm.

Very non splash, when you put water in and shake violently the water stays in.
Yes it was hard to clean the insides.

A dirty glass bottle. It's a rectangle, almost the size of a small fat loaf of bread. The opening is in the centre of the top and is wide enough to fit a few fingers in. The entire short neck has been pushed down into the bottle indenting the whole top so that the opening is almost level with the higher sides. This seems to be to make it non spill.

Tag that was with it: we think it’s a water bottle out of an old train. Maybe 70 years ago.

Yarra Glen swap meet today and just couldn’t walk past this grubby glass treasure.

The stallholder thought it was from an old train, are there any vintage #train people (or #car people, or #glass people) out there who can tell me what it is?
