12 large whiteboards in the backseat of my car
Today I officially joined the club of physics teachers who've gone to Home Depot to get whiteboards cut for groupwork. This was not a viable option when I taught in a city and had no car!

In college I wanted to understand why the sky wasn't purple and so I measured the frequencies in the "blue" sky. As I recall there was indeed more light in wavelengths we call blue than wavelengths we call purple, because the sun's light has more blue than purple to begin with.
It was awesome to meet you in person!
Thanks for the great talk!
Energy bar charts showing an increase in KE for a falling ball
At #AAPTSM23 I learned that the Equivalence Principle follows immediately from energy modeling: if you make your system just the falling object, then your model is equivalent whether the KE comes into the system from a grav field or from another interaction.
Thanks @lernerphysics.bsky.social !
Iโm presenting for the first time ever at @AAPTHQ ๐ฌ. Stop by Ballroom A02 Tuesday at 9 am to hear me present the work I did last summer with @SpectrumXCenter and the @TheNRAO developing radio frequency lesson for middle and high school teachers. #AAPTSM23
