I know I’m like a million years late but I finished Just Kids by Patti Smith a few days ago and bawled my eyes out??? I can’t remember the last time a book made me cry that much
My dear friend Mia’s book came out today! FRAGMENTS OF WASTED DEVOTION is raw and written with gorgeous fervor. Getting to read this early was a gift.
It’s gotten amazing praise, and I can’t wait for the world to read it.

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:
Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
