King Crimson for me.
You probably thought I would have picked Strawbs

Kitten climbing on an ornamental tree made of driftwood
Shadow is in an adventurous mood this morning climbing everywhere causing havoc.
Changes with weather!
Tarkus
Glenn went on to lead the house band at the Shiphay Manor Club in Torquay, we used to go there occasionally in the 70s.
Colosseum and/or Yes.
I think is ex BBT violinist Rachel Hall playing one of the violins. I saw them at couple of years later by which time she had been replaces by current BBT violinist Clare Lindley.
What goes around!
New to me, bookmarked to listen later.
Fripp hits the nail on the head. The Melotron sounds don't sound like the actual instruments, and that's the attraction.
I think at times, he put a 'tron through a rotary speaker. I could be wrong but it would explain some of the chorusing.
Well, earlier today I booked a ticket for @theemeralddawn.bsky.social at Tavistock this coming Sunday, and now I have just received an email saying its been postponed until July.
Probably people like me not booking until the last minute, ๐ซข while trying to persuade some friends to come too
Good find. I think Blue was an excellent replacement for Rick Wakeman in the Strawbs and I think his style fitted the band better.
Trafalgar Way commemorative plack in Dorchester. Its interesting how the preferred routes from the South West have moved north.
Love her version of Richard Thompson's "For the Shame of Doing Wrong".
Gothic church in Dorchester.
Stopping for lunch and a break on my journey home from Southampton. BBT's Woodcut provided the soundtrack for the first half of my journey. "The drum beat strains of the night remain in the rhythm of a brand new day "
Solstice on stage in the 1865, Southampton.
Ross Jennings on stage at the 1865 Southampton.
Solstice (acoustic) and Ross Jennings were the high quality support acts for tonight's BBT concert. And yes that is Alberto Bravin joining Solstice on one of their songs.
What a great night!
Amazing how many people they got in there. Last time I went we were sat a table infornt of the stage.
A non obligatory post gig photo.
@bigbigtrain.bsky.social in Southampton. You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off.
What a fantastic evening, the support acts were top notch too.
Did you get in before Ross Jennings started? The queue for the toilets in the interval was epic too.
Not exactly the obligatory pre gig photo, rather one between support acts. Big Big Train at the 1865 Southampton.
Support is due on at 6:30, it will be a miracle if they get everyone in by them at this rate.
The queue for Big Big Train in Southampton tonight.
I saw them at the Bristol Hippodrome 40 years earlier! One of the only two times I have seen them.
I am off to see Big Big Train in Southampton tonight.
I had intended to travel by train but there is a bus replacement service and an insane two hours waiting for various connections so I am driving.
Ditto, mine is probably still up there somewhere.
We woke up to no heating or hot water so we have lit the fire. Shadow is fascinated. We have a pyromaniac kitten.
Preview of the upcoming album by Magenta. I have my CD/DVD copy on pre-order and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive.

I've not seen a post here (yet?) but doors will be very early on Sunday according to their Facebook post - at 18:00
Must have been around the time I saw them at Torquay Town Hall. Extremely loud and had to play multiple encores as the crowd was going wild and would not take no for an answer.
