I was a railroader too. I lived between KC, Galveston, Memphis and Tucumcari.

At that time, my dad was a railroader at the Katy Rail Yard office behind the depository. And a trombone player in Ruby's club on some nights. He said he was a strange dude.

I was at the Katy Freight house behind the school book depository. I was 7, did not hear a thing until mom an dad showed up in a tizzy. They were up on Commerce, I think.
