got great feedback n praise on my designs today so i can breathe

in the era of my life where my i’m anxiously awaiting v serious emails

my hobbies? spotting parallels, identifying patterns, making connections, unraveling nuances, observing, pondering

I won’t try to prove anything to anyone but myself though, moving forward

it's kinda sad that digital work is so hidden

like there's no messy study room or bookshelves full of works you've read or letters from people and gizmos and widgets you've built or stacks of drawings and diagrams

it's all just, hidden in folders, already lost in space, and eventually lost to time

If anyone’s looking for alternatives to GoodReads, I highly recommend StoryGraph. It’s owned by a black woman, and the platform is so much more accessible and easy to use.

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.
