Nice morning wandering around the State Geology Museum in #Tashkent. Great display of mineral specimens and some dinosaur bit and pieces.
Continuing my trip through the #tashkent metro here are the bomb blast doors at Minor station.
The wonderful Kosmonavtlar #Tashkent metro station featuring Yuri Gagarin and many others. Found out today that until about 2018 I would have been arrested for taking these as the metro stations doubled as bomb shelters.

Driving from Kiel to Rotterdam today in an #EV. Maybe itβs just me, but the effort in planning to make sure I donβt run out of charge is a monumental pain in the ass. Same in reverse in my diesel truck - so much easier. Until infrastructure and range improve long distance EV trips are much harder.
We at NHM Fossil Reptiles got to dress up unprecedentedly smartly to go to the NHM's annual Trustees' dinner last night as we revealed Enigmacursor to the great and good. Featuring @profpaulbarrett.bsky.social, @marcehjones.bsky.social, @simonwills.bsky.social, Mike Day and Fern the Diplodocus
