sean ran on an openly socialist and pro-palestine platform. he won a majority of the ballots cast and he won in a landslide. he beat the abc candidates by 25,000+ votes. it can be done.

ralph kaisers finished dead last of the serious candidates, and there were fewer votes separating him and rollergirl than votes separating him and sean orr lmfao

it should make a lot of theoretically leftist parties think about their tendency to swing right in a race.

don't think you can overstate how impressive it is that @copevancouver.bsky.social and @seanorr.bsky.social ran a grassroots campaign in a byelection that generated record voter turnout, and they have 53% of the vote with 24/27 locations reporting.

with 24/27 locations reporting, the lead is now up to 22,837 lol

with 22/27 locations reporting, sean orr now leads ralph kaisers by 22,541 votes.

that means 4.35x more people voted for sean.
