Ik denk dat een deel van de evangelicals nu wakker aan het worden is. Ze worden namelijk nu zelf keihard geraakt door afschaffen van fiscale voorzieningen rond studieleningen (ik kom net terug uit VS). En ook grote schok en ongemak om reactie Trump op vliegtuigongeluk in DC.

Het niet met elkaar in gesprek gaan voelt toch wel als een scheuring. Zoveel plaatselijke kerken hebben moeite gedaan (vaak op advies van de classes) om deze zaken bij GS aanhangig te maken.
