Yeah Platypet. I think I heard they bought others, but Platypet was the big one because it was a relatively popular fakemon from a relatively well-known fakemon artist on DA at the time.
@brigadierginger
Just call me Brig. 36. DemiAce. Any pronouns. Practicing Pagan. Filthy FFXIV casual. Undiagnosed but have it on good authority. π«CERTIFIED GEN-AI HATERπ« IF YOU USE OR KNOWINGLY REPOST GEN-AI FOR ANY REASON, YOU WILL BE MOCKED AND BLOCKEDπ«

TemTem did this way back when. Their mascot is literally a fakemon someone made, and they just bought the design off the artists.
They never were to begin with
Very much so. Galen tries to hide it behind an overly cheerful, seemingly shallow persona, but this facade is pretty easy to see through if you spend enough time with him. Of course it's bit him in the backside, but that's just the price you pay as far as he cares.
Buff this is not acceptable. Taking a day off? Seriously, you have a commitment to both your fans and yourself that you must maintain for your own sake.
You should take at least 2-3 days off! Your health is more important! New meds suck. You gotta really let yourself acclimate to them!
The same tired old pricks whining about the younger generations not drinking and fucking enough today are the same tired old pricks that were telling the younger generations that they were going to hell for drinking and fucking too much a decade ago.
If I recall, their SaTAM one uses Sonic X artwork lol
Gas used teh be under $3/gal! And ye could get a pack of bubblegum fer a nickel! Things was jus better in them days.
It's about sex according to Jeff Buckley and some random unnamed critic that Larry Sloman cited once. Cohen himself stated it was about affirming his love and acceptance of life.
If I had a nickel for every dipshit music snob I've had to explain this to, I'd be able to retire by 40.
Tails ain't got no tingers
Three figurines from left to right: Fern from Freiren in her winter outfit. A white fur-trimmed coat with a blue scarf over a black shirt and long blue skirt. Goku holding young Gohan from DragonBallZ. Gohan is in his yellow Chinese Emperor outfit with green sleeves and red cap with the Four Star Dragon Ball as an ornament. Goku is in his classic orange Turtle Hermit gi. Prince Beelzebub from Sand Land. He's a pink demon with spiky pink hair, white goggles on his forhead, a purple cape, black sport shorts and tan boots.
The Oktoberfest versions of Emilia and Ram from Re:Zero. Emilia is in a green Dirndl dress with lighter green blouse and stockings and holding two boot-shaped steins of beer. She has long silver hair and a white headband with purple ribbons on either side. Ram is wearing a lavender Dirndl dress with a dark blue bodice and lighter purple blouse and stockings. Her hair is short pink and she's wearing a brown bandana. She's holding a pretzel up to her mouth.
Grabbed some new figurines on sale and had two arrive in the mail!
My sisters blind pitbull Bennet sitting on the couch with his paws crossed like a proper gentlemen. We had to have his eyes removed just before his first birthday due to a genetic defect after two attempts to save them. He'll be a hale and hearty 6 year old this august.
Yeah, but it's always worth it to see them happy and healthy.
Whatever you do, don't watch the terrible made for tv movie they did. Poor Koontz just can't catch a break with film.
Galen: "Did I ever mention the time my little sister caught an infamous jewel thief by accident?"
Jarna: "The one she knocked out by falling out of a tree onto him or the one she crippled by biting his ankle after he made her drop her book in the mud?"
Galen: "...the one she stabbed with a spoon."
*laughs in Attack on Titan
My high school had an elective called Intro to Gaming, where we learned how to code games. All the computers were connected via LAN, and the teacher had a massive library of emulated games from every era for "research" reasons. All we ever did was play Quake III all class. This was in 06-08.
Believe it or not its possible to easily fuck up boxed brownies. My mother is a champ at this. It's okay to be a little proud that people like "your" brownies.

These games are etched into my heart because I played them with my cousin before he passed. Seems incredibly fitting that two of them are about the power of the love we hold in our hearts and the memories we make that define our lives respectively. They also have banger soundtracks!
"Charmander for Arceus' sake you can't fucking say that word!"
Does anyone know if the TakaraTomy Welcome Home one is getting a proper US release?
Hell yeah!
Soooo art comms are opening when? Your Pokemon art is really adorable!
There's always Summer Con in Puyallup in June
They also made:
A rock with arms
A tub of silly putty
Two magnets stuck to a ball bearing
A plain old rat
A carton of eggs
Another tub of silly putty, but purple
A sentient fart
A plain old crab
A plain old duck, twice
A plain old bat
You seeing how dumb this argument is yet?
All in all, I'm not surprised in the least that Highguard failed. It was just another painfully generic hero shooter with a slightly different yet equally drab coat of paint.
considering what a dry, by-the-numbers game it was. And they're free to blame the gaming community for pre-emptively passing judgement, but I can't help but feel like if the game really was as good as they believed, it should have easily been able to stand on its own merit as they said it would.
hell their original plan of stealth dropping it would have faired any better imho. And considering how quickly they abandoned ship, it doesn't feel like they had a real post-launch support plan either. It's clear they were riding on it being a day-one smash hit, which again is completely baffling-
within the first week for it to stick. Wildlight chose not only to try to fish in that well, they baited their line with the most generic worm on the market(a pvp hero shooter). And it's easy to blame the Game Awards fiasco as setting unreasonable expectations, but honest to gods there's no way in-
The entire Highguard situation is utterly baffling to me. The mtx-ridden live-service model is already a poisoned well, and it relies so heavily on such a small, specific pool of gamers that you NEED to reel them in ASAP for it to be financially viable. You NEED to knock your game out of the park-
