1, Nara pennant. It is a white cloth with an illustration printed on it and two golden synthetic resin strings to the left of the flag.

2, The illustration is a deer in Nara Park (close-up of the face). Nara Park in the center of the city is home to many deer, which are believed to be messengers of the gods.

3, Enlargement of the illustration. The face of a stag with magnificent antlers is depicted within a round frame. The caption is "NARA PARK" (brown) in English. In the background are the five-story pagoda of Kofukuji Temple, Sarusawa Pond, and two deer.

4, The title is in Japanese. "NARA" (red gold powder) in brush-style kanji. The subtitle is "Kankō" (sightseeing, black) in romaji.

I did a series of pint-sized pennants inspired from protest signs I saw.

1, The pennant of Kirishima Kogen Youth Hostel. It is a dark blue cloth with an illustration printed on it and two hanging strings attached to the left of the pennant. "Kogen" is a Japanese word meaning plateau.

2, The illustration is of the youth hostel building (red) and the Kirishima mountain range (white).

3, Enlarged illustration. The building with a triangular roof in the style of a mountain lodge (red) and the Kirishima mountain range with a pointed summit.

4, The title is in English. KIRISHIMA KOGEN" (white) and "Y.H." (red) in capital letters.
