In the last episode of "F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu" (known as "F-Zero: GP Legend" in the English dub but they didn't localize all the episodes), Captain Falcon does the biggest Falcon Punch of all time to kill Black Shadow.
I brag about the "Worlds Of Power" NES game novelizations I hunted down recently, but I've only actually read two, Blaster Master and Castlevania II, because they're the ones I grew up with.
I really should read the others; last three for sure.

Maybe I'm being ragebaited by social media, as I see a bunch of posts who are misidentifying Wart as King K. Rool.
Some people are surely just trolling, but I think some people legitimately don't know who Wart is.
He's also known as "Mamu" in Link's Awakening (Game Boy), as well as its remake (Link's Awakening DX on the GBC and the 2019 one on Switch).
His appearances are limited, and Nintendo should do more with him.
Which they are! Glad to see he'll be in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Then again, Super Mario Bros. 2 is a classic - all the haters who see it as a "Doki Doki Panic" clone (as if that's a bad thing) should at least... play it?

On one hand, I'm disappointed that Mario fans don't know Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2.
On the other hand, that was a NES game from 1988 - 37½ years ago! Its GBA remake, Super Mario Advance, was ~25 years ago.
Many popcorn buckets are just toys with an orifice to cram salty deliciousness into.
Now that I type that, that sounds like a really bad way to describe them...
It's crazy that if Maurice Ravel had died a month earlier, or if the game was delayed by a month, we might not have gotten The Legend Of Zelda Theme, which is a big part of the series' identity!
I got chills just now thinking about how it might sound in the movie next year.
Fascinating video game trivia: Koji Kondo composed The Legend Of Zelda Theme over ONE single night, when Nintendo realized they couldn't use Maurice Ravel's "Boléro" because the copyright on it wouldn't expire until ONE MONTH after the game's release!

I love The Legend Of Zelda Theme so much, that at the end of Twilight Princess, the part that actually made me tear up wasn't Midna's farewell, but rather when the classic theme kicks in partway through the credits:

I got a cheap copy of StarTropics (like new, CIB) and the Zelda Game & Watch (no box or instructions, but in great condition) from bargain bins.
I had buyer's remorse when I bought EarthBound. I'd already finished it on a rental, and it cost me $100 at Canadian Tire, when I had no job. It's only because I was collecting Nintendo Power Player's Guides; since this game came with one, I "had to".
I don't regret that anymore!
Can't wait for the finished game (and to see my part in it)!
I've been a fan of ReBoot since the beginning, and knew that the episode "Medusa Bug" originally had two endings, one being a weird cliffhanger with the Medusa Virus returning. Somehow it wasn't until today that I learned it was resolved in short TV spots:

Space Quest IV and King's Quest V are the first games in VGA for their respective series, and among the first games I played on my own computer, so there's lots of nostalgia.
It's funny how it doesn't seem like there's much in SQ IV, but you do spend lots of time in the mall of "Space Quest X".
