The weather has turned a bit miserable around Peterborough. Currently being chased to Werrington by the Jolly Joint Line Express.

This week I am mostly going East. East is best. 👌

I don't think I'll ever understand how the Anglia 170s have survived so many refurbishments and still have these ancient relics left behind.

After some behind the scenes suggestion to provide a local stopping service to the Hope Valley during a week long blockade I though I best go and see how it worked. A gentle stroll along the old railway from Bamford to Ladybower Dam for lunch and back again in utterly stunning surroundings.
