The other night, @thatames.bsky.social told me a story about how she once visited a friend’s midcentury house that had its own fallout shelter.
“Isn’t that bonkers?” she asked.

“Actually,” I replied, “it’s bunkers.”

Today I was reminded of this picture of Aaron Copland that was the funniest thing I'd ever seen as a dorky undergrad music major circa 2006. I made a Facebook group called "Aaron Copland didn't wear pants, so why should I?"
