This brings me joy! Giving teachers/staff time to learn, apply, process, and reflect is important! Love that you do this too! Do you have instructional coaching cycles as a choice? This is where we've seen the biggest transfer of high-impact instructional strategies being used with students. 🤩
This has evolved over the last 8 years. We use teacher feedback to improve the structure each year. Staff can choose from a variety of options or create their own learning path. Regardless of their choice, the goal is action research and sharing successes with colleagues. Way more engaging! 🤩
Students used the @mirrortalkai.bsky.social app in Mrs. Diamond's English class today! It took less than 5 minutes for them to reflect and get personalized feedback and whole-class insights. She will use this powerful data to conference about their next steps in learning. #EduSky #EduCoach #EduSkyIL
We struggled too. This is why we decided to switch to a choice structure. Staff choose a topic related to our building goal and how they would like to learn, including instructional coaching as a choice. Such a great way to build a culture of learning among staff (and have some fun too). #EDUcoach
