Exactly, and to be fair, painting single models has, so far, been proving quicker overall. The previous squad was batch painted and took me from March until October to paint! 🤪
Been painting up the third squad for my US Infantry. Painting 1 model at a time instead of batch painting. Each model takes roughly 3.5-4 hours. 3 out of 12 finished so far.

I love how expressive the @warlordgames.com faces are. Many other companies could do woth taking note of this. Heroic proportions are good for adding this sort of character.
Built this wonderful model kit today. I do love a Rubicon kit! Tank Commander is from Trenchworx.
I’m getting real “drive over there I want to hit it with my sword” vibes from this tank commander. A 3d print from a Trenchworks STL file.
There defo needs more wargames presence at the expo! It’s very top level at the moment, the usual big players in the industry (obviously). But the number of tiny rpg stands and small businesses at expo shows how accessible it can be for smaller sellers.

Finished off these 6 chaps. Now for their LMG support and another 6 men, to make a standard rifle squad or a mechanised infantry squad.
I built up 2 LMG teams for a mechanise Infantry Squad. I didn’t want them prone like many so many MG teams, so I kitbashed the new Warlord Airborne LMGs onto GI bodies.
I scraped the elbow patches off and filled gaps around the arms and now they look the part despite also looking very “Hollywood”.
