The one thing no one is talking about: 130 days
A special Government employee is only appointed, "for a period not to exceed 130 days during any period of 365 consecutive days."
So, the Musk clock is ticking, isn't it???

Ooh! I've heard of that one. This technology can really be amazing!!
I love this!!
Can you suggest some resources for it??
Absolutely! Human design is essential!!
Here's one for mental health: www.xr.health/lp-ai-powere...
Here's another - for toddlers. #AR Flashcards
Edshelfβs AR Flashcard is making learning interactive and engaging for toddlers. Pointing smartphone at printed flashcard pops-up a 3D object on the screen.
But privacy really matters in this instance - read the fine print

Definitely!! From the safety of home and comforting locations. How amazing is that?
It's a huge sticking point because the technology needs to 'see' your space and surroundings - even you - for it to be effective.
I was reminded of the challenges for those in a wheelchair or homebound to visit the ocean without assistance. Things like that are really important.
Absolutely! And even help them explore spaces that would be difficult if they were unable to explore them otherwise. For example, through a disability.
No one wants their private circumstances on blast for the masses.
AR and VR really do have a lot to offer. And they can be really beneficial for therapeutic uses. But, we always have to remember that there's an exchange - privacy being a huge concern and need to be addressed. Tackling that would be a part of being trauma informed.
I just wrote a Substack on this!!
Hi everyone!!
Yes we do!!

My priorities from an #ethics lens are (in no particular order):
Human-Centered AI & Ethical Responsibility
AI & Social Justice
Advocacy & Public Awareness
The Power of Narrative & Education
Long-Term Ethical Thinking
Truth, and Trust
#InnovateWithCare
What are yours? @letsintegrate.bsky.social ??
Be brave! Be fearless! No yourself and where your lines are to meet this moment. There are others out there who can and will support you. And remember, take care of yourself, then continue to be the badass you are! Together all things are possible!
People. You cannot do this without bringing people along. We also must be honest about capabilities and what they are and aren't. We need oversight and ethics, laws and regulations that are enforceable, and the support of the people. Revolutionizing the world is a hard pass for me without them.
Democrats trust in AI technology is 38 percent, Independents 25 percent, Republicans 24 percent. There is a 30-point gap between trust in tech companies and trust in AI technology for both Democrats and Republicans (D 66 vs. 38, R 55 vs. 24) #InnovateWithCare
