The internet said people who bought Virtual Boy would play it 30 minutes and then put it on a shelf. But the internet doesnβt know me well. π

I havenβt heard of anyone with NS2 joycon drift. If it was an issue it would be top news on all of the Nintendo news sites.
Awesome, haha. Mega Waluigi versus a couple mini characters. Hardly seems fair. π One of the 100 challenges Iβm slowly making my way through in Trial Tower. Nearing the halfway mark!
My main message was I was surprised that Nintendoβs NEW releases are mostly NS2 exclusive, meaning the games can take full advantage of the NS2 hardware and not have to be held back to cater to NS1 too. But people took this in a lot of different directions, lol.
Whoa! Had no idea you could still buy those. I donβt have a system to use them with but itβs good to know nonetheless. Thanks!
I like the fact I can miss a day or two in Pokopia and the game will remain as I left it. In AC I feel like I need to check in every day or I may miss something. (I do love AC but that aspect of AC can be exhausting.)
Gimmick 2 was released on Switch in 2024. Itβs a brand new game but actually a sequel to a 1992 NES game, which is a cool fact in itself. But donβt let the cute art style fool you. This puzzle platformer will knock you on your buttβ¦over and over. π
Kaboomβ¦would love to have a go at that game using paddles today. That was fun back in the day.
Notice I said βnewβ games. Observation had nothing to do with upgrades, NS2 editions, or patches, lol.
There could be a lot worse ways to head into a weekend. π
Iβm pleasantly surprised with the way Nintendo transitioned from NS1 to NS2. With the huge NS1 user base, I expected them to drag their feet (like Sony/Xbox) on making new games NS2 exclusive. Outside of what had been already announced prior to NS2, they largely havenβt.
Anticipation is what keeps life fun. π
So far so goodβ¦really good. If youβve ever played Dragon Quest Builders that should give you a good idea.
Canβt complain, drowning in gamesβ¦which is exactly where I prefer to be. π
Same. Iβve played RE7 before, but not RE8. I plan to play 8, then 9, then revisit 7! That deal is the kind that will get me to take action, lol.
That was probably the best oneβ¦definitely my favorite because of what you pointed out outβ¦the acting. π
PokΓ©mon Pokopiaβ¦At any given time there are 10 different things you could be working on. What feels like 20 minutes of gaming in reality was an hour! This has the potential of getting me to invest mega hours into it because this is a world thatβs simply fun to be in.
This promotional video tape for Donkey Kong Country worked like a charm, not that I needed much convincing. I remember forcing myself to finish a college paper before I drove to the store to pick it up on launch day, lol. Looks like I even still have a completed save file from decades ago!
Iβve only played 30 minutes and I can already tell Pokopia is going to greatly appeal to me. π
I think the main difference is additional multiplayer content, which doesnβt interest me. But there is also some additional single player content too that Iβm hoping proves fun.
Nah, that was a couple days ago. Just got off a boat.
While everyone else is playing Resident Evil 9, I decided to play Resident Evil 8 instead and save 9 for afterwards. I had forgotten just how good these games are. Itβs nice not having to dedicate 50 hours to get through them, but thereβs replay value if you do want more.
Teleroboxer on Virtual Boyβ¦according to my stats Iβve boxed 111 rounds this week with a professional record of 3 wins and 42 losses! π Iβm actually proud Iβve gotten to the 4th fighter. Game is pretty tough.
I liked the art style and puzzle aspects of Kena but I didnβt like the combat where youβre are stuck fighting waves of enemies until they are gone. Game is tough although I think there were difficulty options.
Alright! Itβs time to get these March releases rolling! Not that Iβm hurting for gamesβ¦still deep in Mario Tennis Fever, Resident Evils, and Virtual Boy games but the journey through Pokemon Pokopia begins today!
Diving in this evening π
The toughest part of this challenge is simply keeping track of Toad on this court!
Super Castlevania IVβ¦.I cannot think about this game without the music getting stuck in my headβ¦so good! The rotating stages were also eye opening back in the day.
Letβs rewind the clock and recap an old Nintendo Direct from 02/22/12 - what got us excited, and what we forgot about, what turned out good and what didnβt. Features Xenoblade Chronicles, Kid Icarus Uprising, and a closing game you probably wonβt remember.
