it's 2016: north carolina introduces a bill to ban trans people from using bathrooms safely. there's a national outcry; companies withdraw business up to and including the NCAA cancelling a publicized game. the bill fails.

it's 2026: kansas passes a law nullifying trans people's licenses. crickets.

They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

Like I said in Alex's earlier post, this show and the hard work you all put into it has literally saved my life on more than one occasion, or at least grounded me enough to keep going through some really tough things. I'm truly grateful to you. Take a good rest and keep your friends close. 💙

It devistates me that this kind of crap happens to good creators who are just trying to make their passions a reality. As far as I'm concerned, you've done nothing wrong. You made a story about characters you love and shitty people got butt hurt that they didn't get to write it the way they want to.

You and the cast of Digital Circus. I don't know any of you personally, nor have I met you all. But I truly love the work you've done and appreciate it so much. Thank you all!

But that doesn't make them bad characters. It's just more satisfying when character growth does happen. And God i haven't been this obsessed with a show since I was a kid. That's a major achievement. Thank you Goose for the work you've put in. I'd say, no doubt, you saved my life last year.

And I feel that's the point of Jax. Pomni started at her lowest. Zooble, Gangle, Ragatha, and Kinger all start at the lowest we've seen them. Whether they show it outwardly in episode 1 or not. Throughout the show, they've all grown. The 2 characters we see getting worse are Jax and Caine.
