The US unfortunately doesn't have a snap election built into our constitution. Some states have where they can recall their leaders in a snap election but federally there's none. Its either impeachment/25th amendment or wait until midterms. Its a fault we didnt fix decades ago.

Most politicians regardless of political orientation ran for office for the prestige or popularity of the office. Not to fight against an authoritarian takeover, not to fight for citizens, because its fun to be a congressperson and pays well and gives connections. That's the problem

The system is not made for those who want change/meaningful difference to climb the corporate/government ladder. People get promoted not just because of merit, but also obedience, willingness to keep the status quo etc. Change oriented individuals are stunted because higher ups don't want them

I don't know... I dont think they have anymore familial backing than any other generation. And the no hope imo comes from the not being able to have a house, low paying jobs, high prices etc. But it should push people to fight to change it. Not to mention the right wing swing for young men

I will say the Gen Z not being as loud as other countries is what does surprise me the most. Most previous US protests were led by the youngest generation and I feel this time most people that are at protests tend to be older, Gen x/millennial. Gen Z in the us has no hope so they don't bother

The system was built to keep the average person exhausted, poor, fat and uneducated. And its doing a great job, breaking that sustem is extremely difficult. And nearly impossible. Im not sure how to fix it but I do what I can
