People want another Concord situation more than they want to see any kind of success.

I've played three hours of it. It has some great twists on the usual multiplayer shooter formula, but it's complicated and not particularly easy to understand unless you actually spend time with it. Labelling a game like this as dead on arrival is not normal, but here we are.
If Highguard is anything, it's a stark look of how negative, hostile and grift-heavy this space has become. Not even two hours after launch and all I saw were Steam graphs, hyperbolic YouTubers calling the game dead while teasing upcoming videos, and then Games Media spinning it all for easy clicks
That's great help, thanks for collating all those. Looks like there's a few that are in my wheelhouse
Jesus, enjoy my massive face I guess
After 4.5 years of freelancing, I'm v excited to say that I'm now Evergreen Editor over at TechRadar Gaming. Been working regularly with the team for years now, but this should allow me to be a bit more hands on with the direction of our long-tail gaming content. New email in bio!
If aliens landed and for some reason I was chosen to pick a song that represents humanity it'd be Weezer - I'm Your Daddy and it's not even close open.spotify.com/track/1invJF...
My tiktok algo has definitely figured out that I'm going through a breakup. We live in hell
Wanted to watch the original Indiana Jones movies before playing the game (first time seeing them as an adult) and I'm surprised to hear people don't think The Last Crusade is the best one! So, so good. But liked all three tbf
Sticking Fontaines DC - Starburster over the Borderlands 4 trailer is so clearly aimed at annoying me specifically
It's so silly. Rudebox is such a weird time capsule
Lovelight also a must
It'll be interesting to see if Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a dedicated PS5 Pro patch. Would make PS5 the best place to play the game, but does that matter three months after the initial launch? Not so sure
Her name is Nellie Dog and we're best friends
My mum took her dog for a Christmas photo shoot 🥺
That's right, the answer is Faucet. Grow up
Glass Eyes is a banger
it's a shame cos Burn the Witch is such an interesting song, with the crazy stabbing strings. And then nothing else really matches it from that point on. There's also three songs that I get mixed up all the time as they sound SO similar
Lmao
I think I just like the soppy shit with strings in it
I think Luther is one of my favourite songs he's done
I think a lot of people will have skipped the Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLCs earlier this year.
The first two are great bonuses to the main game. The third, Time Breaker, is an absolute must play. So creative, and the kind of project that only Remedy could pull off.
It actually was, unfortunately
Brewed coffee this morning that required three different temperatures of water in it so I reckon the seasonal depression is arriving right on cue this year
Yeah definitely. So weirdly sad as well though, that realisation of how much time has passed and how you barely recognise anyone in the bar at first
The end of episode 2, that Roadhouse scene with James and Shelley. The music, the way the credits scroll over the band. It really is perfect in every way.
