Na het 20.00 uur nieuws ging ik thee zetten. Toen ik weer de woonkamer binnenkwam hoorde ik haar lachen en heb ik meteen de tv uitgedaan. Ik kon er niet naar kijken.

All of them disappeared over the last 80 years, mostly because of habitat loss caused by human activity.
Not mentioning the butterflies we lost before that, before we started monitoring 🦋

This butterfly used to live in the Netherlands until about 1995. Just like the previous 14 butterflies I painted in this series did.

The 15th and last watercolour in this series is the Poplar admiral (Limenitis populi) 🦋
In Dutch it's called 'Grote IJsvogelvlinder', which would translate to 'great kingfisher butterfly'.

My birds never get "they look like dinosaurs', I get "they look so agressive" and "you put so much detail in their feet, do they really have such big nails/ claws?" and I laugh, that cute little robin is a dinosaur and will destroy anything red that comes close to it (outside mating season).

Next to hungry they are also very destructive and started to eat the 2 wooden storage cabinets on my balcony which started to rot because of that. These are part of the balcony, can't be removed and hard to repair.

I had a lot of fun making the print (2nd picture).
She used to visited regularly looking for food. She loves to make a lot of noise, loves to eat, screamed for more and when I didn't act quickly enough she would eat (!) from the wooden balcony storage cupboard.
So that's when I stopped feeding 🤪

A few days ago these two (rose-ringed parakeets) visted my balcony checking out the place for food. Every few hours I leave some peanuts for the birds but the magpies and jackdaws are always ahead of them 😅

Tja, mensen (incl. Borsato zelf) zien het vonnis als bewijs van onschuld terwijl er niet bewezen wordt dat hij onschuldig is. Er kan alleen niet bewezen worden dat hij schuldig is en dat is altijd lastig met dit soort zaken 🙁

Als Susan en Freek zelf Duits waren had hun zoon Suf geheten... precies ook mijn mening over de naam eigenlijk 😋

Partijen als Ja21, PVV, FvD gaan tegen de rechtstaat in en zetten daarmee zichzelf buitenspel. Daar zou niet "links" de schuld van moeten te krijgen.
Overwegen om met dat soort lui samen te werken is per definitie gevaarlijk en dus ongewenst.
Of je nu rechts of links bent.

Wat mij betreft heeft een groot gedeelte van het volk geen idee waar ze mee bezig zijn en kunnen ze hun naargeestige ideetjes beter voor zich houden.

Oh, ik ben het op alle fronten met je eens hoor. Het is bijna grappig allemaal.
Zoals wat nu steeds wordt gezegd: 'het volk wil over rechts dus dat moeten we dan maar doen'.

Ja, "midden" is tegenwoordig een relatief begrip.
