1) I love this I love this I love the sentiment behind it, I love the composition, I love the style.
2) I never noticed how weird it looks to see Samus' normal-scaled arm emerging from her giant-shouldered armour. It's correct, but my brain keeps saying "no, shoulder up here, arm should be big".

As a general rule, I'm better at handling the Me parts of my characters, but have trouble with the Other parts. I guess they help me exercise empathy in that way, each of them drags me over to a Thing that I am Not and says "yes, but I AM this, so learn it and feel it with me".

Most of my OCs manifest my inherent drive to determine the self through Actions and not Origins or Relationships, but Bellina cares about style & gender presentation, DJING! has an ego and likes crowds, A-Bomb likes getting *nasty*, Wanda cares about her personal brand, etc etc.

Each of my characters (like everyone's) are part Me, part Other. Lee, for example, has my stubbornness, introversion, paranoia, disregard for convention, and open-mindedness, but they don't have my creativity or drive to make art, and I don't have their vanity or entitledness.

Not super great today, but around my average. Feels normal. I could use some normal.

Walking around in public *without* having a charged Internet-enabled smartphone on your person not being officially considered suspicious behaviour meriting search and detention by authorities.
Repairing your car at home & still having it be considered street legal.
Buying things with cash.

Being able to hand-code your own website from scratch without integrating it with big social media and knowing that search engines would index it and that anyone on Earth can access it.
Popular stories that have a single canonical beginning, middle, and end, in line with a single artist's vision.

Seeing a video and being reasonably certain that *someone* would be able to spot if it was AI-generated.
Seeing a fully-covered biped walking around (say, at a protest) and being 100% certain that it's a human.
Commercially available computers that still function while airgapped from the Internet.

Also, like... a significant proportion of those actors and/or characters are definitely not American and unquestionably would not support this war. Like... Deadpool? Really? You think Wade Wilson and/or Ryan Reynolds would be on your side on this one?

God, I love GBH. These comics are truly incredible, I love them so much.

As my puzzles told me - I succeeded, but neither at the thing I wanted to nor at the thing I needed to. Kinda sad, watching a whole day slip out of my fingers like that. I'll never get another March 4th, 2026.

Writing Wednesday has come and gone, and I spent all of it working on the wrong thing and did not actually write a single word in the fanfic I had wanted to. Honestly, I'm disappointed in myself and kinda mad at my muse.

I'm glad that years of exercising my conceptualization skills have given me the ability to still make over-the-top fantasy porn now that I have an anxiety disorder and the idea of a vivacious stranger flirting with me, let alone touching my wiener, often engenders boner-killing dread.
