The hairy woodpeckers like to yell at me when I interrupt their time at the suet feeders by walking out my front door. They don't move. Just yell and keep eating a few feet away.

My idea, if I am successful in creating floss I feel is high quality and unique enough to find a niche in the hand dyed floss market, is to name all the colors after native plants and wildlife and to give part of the proceeds to conservation causes.

Think I'm going to pull the trigger and try some embroidery floss dying. If nothing else, it might be something that interests Miss 12 and allow me to springboard off that to teach some math. If it goes well, it might be a legit side gig. Well, since I'm unemployed, just a gig, I guess.
