Trump said drug dealers should get “the death penalty” but I guess a full and unconditional pardon is basically the same thing.
Best thing our allies can remember: if you stand up to Trump you intimidate him and he will back down. If you crawl to him (like his sycophantic politicians) he will not respect you and will eventually throw you under the bus.
