Smallbrook Queensway - Corstorphine & Wright
superb, thank you. You're right - the building is not part of the plans for SQ. God, these are awful: www.corstorphine-wright.com/projects/sma...

really? That's fascinating. Aren't they knocking down Smallbrook Queensway shortly? Such a shame that it's been allowed to happen, but that's Brum...

wow, you are so wrong. Totally genuine request. And people have been so helpful, the case is cracked. Which is why I asked for help in the first place.

yes, good thinking, thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have a sufficiently high res version to see what's showing at the Odeon.

thank you Andrew, both really helpful. Some of those 70s ones around Smallbrook Q'way look like they could be from the same shoot.

Photo from the early 1970s of a man on horseback negotiating the Birmingham inner ring road at Holloway Head
I’m searching for the original and/or rights owner of this fabulous picture of Birmingham in the early 1970s. It popped up on my Instagram feed, but I’ve been unable to track it down.
Any leads? I’m really hoping to use it in a book.
(And would much appreciate a RT please)

hi Adam, such a good show tonight.
I think I've got that single somewhere. Didn't the Leyton Buzzards become Modern 'Aye Aye Aye Aye Moosey' Romance?

Comedian Linda Smith
It’s 20 years since Linda Smith left us.
Such a unique comic voice. So dazzling in everything - JAM, Clue, Brief History of Timewasting… effortlessly witty and regularly speaking truth to power (and taking the piss out of Boris seemingly weekly)
I was absolutely gutted and still am to be honest.
